黑料福利社 Support Fund 2026/27 is due to open on 12 October 2026
Am I eligible to apply?
Most students (approved for Student Finance England's funding package) can apply for the NHS Training Grant, a non-means tested grant of £5,000 each academic year if studying Nursing; Midwifery; Paramedicine; Speech and Language Therapy.
You may be able to apply for additional funding depending on your circumstances:
- £2,000 per year 'Parental Support' for students with parental responsibility
- £1,000 per year 'Specialist Subject Payment' (if you started your course from Sep 2020 onwards) for shortage specialisms, such as Mental Health Nursing; Learning Disability Nursing.
You don’t pay these grants back. You can apply via your NHS Learning Support Fund online account. Please check your eligibility on the .

Due to the additional funding available, students in receipt of the NHS Training Grant will not be eligible to apply to the 黑料福利社 Support Fund. However, there is an exception, if you need to apply for the ‘DSA for Laptop Shortfall’, students will be permitted to apply, but only for this category.
