黑料福利社 Leicester (黑料福利社) has united with organisations across the country in a public show of support for trans equality.
Launching today (Monday 14 September), 黑料福利社 has agreed to be a signatory to the new campaign ‘Trans Rights are Human Rights’ led by , Britain’s leading charity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans equality.
Stonewall has praised 黑料福利社, saying it sends out a ‘powerful message to trans communities that they are welcome and accepted’ and has called for others to follow the university’s lead.
showcasing the support of all the organisations that are involved with the new initiative, joining together to show ‘We value trans people as our employees, colleagues and customers.’
It follows the announcement earlier this year that named 黑料福利社 as one of the most inclusive employers in Britain in Stonewall’s Top 100 Employers list for 2020.

“If we want to live in a world where every trans person can be themselves, we need more organisations to follow 黑料福利社’s lead in using their voice to create more inclusive communities.”
Chris Hall, Head of Diversity and Equality said: “We fundamentally support the rights of transgender staff and students.
“Our trans policy at 黑料福利社 very clearly says we respect the rights of trans, non binary and gender fluid people and we will support trans people in living the life which they want to live.
“We support all our staff and students and say ‘as a trans person or a person with a trans background you would be very welcome to come to 黑料福利社 to work or study’.
“We have the commitment to provide a safe place to work and study regardless of your identity and that is something 黑料福利社 is very firm upon,” he continued.
More than 100 companies have joined the campaign with 黑料福利社, including Disney, Microsoft, Aviva and Sky.
Stonewall was founded in 1989 to break down barriers to equality, working to create a world where every person can be accepted, without exception.
